So, yesterday was our little Beltaine festival in Cape Town. It was real fun.
There was loads of things to do and we loved it.
Yes, we. I'm not sure i can post her name yet, but it was our first official date, so be sure to smile big and warmly for us- i am. *big smiles*
Anyhow, there were loads of talks about Demeter, The Tokolosh, incubus sucubus, the unification of opposites... And that's all i can remember.
We also danced the maypole... Now that was fun. I became all confused and went under three ribbons at one time.
And it's been real fun... The best fest I've been to so far- and the most special. *smiles*
I'm a Mermaid
Monday, October 22, 2007, 05:22 AM [Dreams and Visions]
Well, my dream started out ok. I was on my way to a camp with other kids from school. I didn't know them, but for some reason i thought i did. Anyhow, so when we finally got there, we went to our cabins. The other boys made plans to keep the girls out of the house. I didn't really know what was going on and when i went to the door to go out, all the girls was standing outside. They asked me something, but i didn't understand them.
Next thing i knew, i was in a hall. We were all cleaning up and i remember that i was supposed to clean something else, but i ended up cleaning a bed or a bath tub. Whatever it was, i met a mermaid. I can't tell how, exactly, but i just know i did.
After i helped cleaning, i sat down with my friends. I didn't even know them... The only person i recognized was my current Principle. When he entered the room, i trying to hide my long hair. It wasn't that long, but it was longer than our school rules allowed.
When we finally got out, the mermaid i met took me to a pond. She transformed me into a mermaid too and we swam about. There was a a overgrown forest at the other end of the pond. There was a cliff with vines, so i couldn't in far out. But i did enjoy to climb up and jump in from very high up.
There were more happening. But i cant remember it.

A good, first, Tarot meeting
Sunday, October 21, 2007, 05:24 AM [Experiences]
Yesterday I've gone to a monthly Tarot meeting. I didn't have a notepad, pen, Tarot deck or ANYTHING!! but i went.
We discussed the suite (wands, swords, cups, pentacles) and the court (pages, knights, queens, kings) cards.
We started with the suites and we were each asked what a certain suite meant FOR US. Sure it seems easy, but what do you say when you don't know what they're supposed to mean?! Anyhow, i ended up saying via the Swords represent 'actions', and the Kings represent 'Ultimate Power'.
When we were finished discussing what they meant, we assigned star signs to each of the Kings, Queens, and Knights.
I'm a King of Pentacles (a Capricorn) and we had to act out a certain situation according to the nature of our card. I learned that I'm not as authorative[sp?] like the card suggests, but I'm not being led by anyone and i can take control when it's needed. *smiles*
One thing i also noticed about this meeting was that i knew almost half the people. It was great. Actually, it was fantastic- because i really didn't feel so alone. *smiles*
Another thing i done when i got home was jumping on the internet to look for Tarot decks. Not to buy, because let's face it, I'M BROKE. The best i can afford is cardboard cards. Hehe. And besides, it'll be more cherished. Hehe.
I don't really care if the Witchcraft Supperesion Bill will pass or not- it's not gonna stop me!! *smirk*
Anyhow- see you'll later. I need to think about the Tarot reading i got from a new friend, from the meeting.

The Ongoing Suppression of Witchcraft in South Afr
Thursday, October 18, 2007, 03:05 PM [NEWS]
It's no secret, that Goverment is trying to suppress Witchcraft in Mpumalanga, anymore. But no matter how wrong it is, or how many people are opposed to it, it's going ahead. A small group has been organised to defend the Witches in South Africa, with a little force i might add, and Goverment will listen to them- but hope seems to be holding on only by a thread.
When this Bill is passed, reading Tarot Cards will be illegal and I'm afraid that there will be lynchings far worse than High School students who drag old ladies to the sports fields to be burned.
May the God and Goddess protect us all and spare us from such a fate.

Drumming in a Circle of Drums
Thursday, October 18, 2007, 02:40 PM [Experiences]
Wow... Is all i can say.
I met up with a drumming circle tonight and let me just say... IT WAS AWESOME!!
It was a big group tonight- or so I'm told- and we worked mostly in pairs of three, each on a different beat. After the first break, which was about an hour in the drumming, we could all put in our own beat to the circle. I joined in second with a mostly bass beat- so everyone counted on my terms. It Was fantastic.
I'd definately go back and stay, if i can... But i don't know how I'm gonna get R45 (ZAR) a week. And with the ballroom dancing i want to take up (not to mention the archery, and the aikido)- it seems impossible. I'm sure i can get a job as a waiter after my matric exams. But that'll be another month.
It'll be worth the wait though. I'm actually better than what i thought i was. *big smiles*
